Luis Vuitton Doesn’t Make Guitar Straps

“We have no doubt that this copying has been willful and is intended to trade upon the fame and cachet of the LV Trademarks to elevate the status of the infringing Guitar Strap, and of Jane’s Addiction.”

Luis Vuitton has a problem with Dave Navarro using an LV-logo-emblazoned guitar strap.

McCain Has Music Issues

Nobody who makes music wants John McCain to use it for his campaign. The campaign has used and given up on songs by John Mellencamp, Chuck Berry, ABBA, and freshman Democratic Representative John Hall.

There was a groan at McCain headquarters as it suffered yet another musical derailment. An attempt to use Abba’s “Take A Chance On Me” also bombed. “We played it a couple times and it’s my understanding [Abba] went berserk,” Mr McCain said.

Lately, McCain even used music from the video game Medal of Honor: European Assault, and made the composer of that piece upset.

Kid Rock Doesn’t Steal Things

I’m sure they would like voters to see her more like a nurturing homemaker and less like a multi-millionaire heiress. (We all know how well that goes.) Oh but then it turns out she steals all her recipes.

The Moog Guitar

Moog now makes a guitar, and word is that it’s amazing. Its pickups not only respond to the strings, but they actually control the strings a bit, allowing the guitar to have infinite sustain (they must keep the strings vibrating) as well as a “mute mode” that silences strings that aren’t being played. If only I had $6500 to spend on a guitar.
