Jim Webb for VP?
So apparently Virginia’s Jim Webb is a chattering class favorite for Obama’s running mate. He’s a Vietnam vet and has a son in Iraq, so he could potentially blunt a lot of McCain’s virtues. But it seems to me he would only exacerbate one of the worst: Obama’s inexperience, since Webb is an even firster term senator.
On the other hand, maybe the message of change works better with two newcomers?

Did you read the NYT editorial saying the Dems should make Hillary VP, and the NY Governor should appoint Bill to her senate seat?
IMO, that would be about the… AWESOMEST THING EVER.
