Sense and Nonsense on NRO

Oh what a centrist feeling! I found 3 articles that make good points at the National Review: Re: energy, Re: academic freedom in the UK, and Re: the Vagina Monologues vs. the Penis Monologues.

I also found something funny. I’d always been put off by this book ad that shows up a lot on NRO. It’s for Richard Lowry’s Legacy, which is about Clinton. The ad shows the book cover, and the “A” in “Legacy” is red and positioned to be in the center of Clinton’s coat, which seems to be a clear Scarlet Letter reference to me. So imagine my surprise to discover that the actual book cover is a little more subtle. I guess it’s targeting the message to the audience.
